BANANA SPLIT CAKE 
FIRST LAYER:

2 c. finely crushed graham crackers
1 stick butter

Melt butter and mix together with graham crackers. Pat into bottom of 9 x 13 x 2 pan.

SECOND LAYER:

2 eggs
1 box powdered sugar
2 sticks butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Beat eggs, sugar, butter and vanilla for a full 20 minutes. Mixture will take on a light and creamy texture. Spread over graham cracker layer.

THIRD LAYER:

2 c. crushed pineapple, well drained
3 to 4 bananas, sliced

Spread pineapple evenly over the beaten mixture and cover with sliced bananas.

FOURTH LAYER:

1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
1 c. chopped nuts
Chocolate syrup
Maraschino cherries

Evenly cover the fruit with Cool Whip. Drizzle with chocolate syrup and sprinkle with nuts. Place cherries on each serving. Refrigerate overnight. Can also be frozen for a later day.
