CHICKEN CASSEROLE 
1 chicken (hen or baking), reserve the broth
Seasoned croutons
Thin white sauce
Salt & pepper to taste
3 c. chicken broth

Cook chicken until tender. Remove pieces from broth and let cool. Reserve chicken broth. Remove from the bone and place in a large casserole. Cover with seasoned croutons. Bring the reserved chicken broth to a boil in a saucepan. Bring to a rolling boil and reduce the heat. Stir in the thin white sauce and bring to a boil, stirring constantly until thickened.

Pour mixture over the chicken and croutons and bake at 375 degrees for about 25 minutes.

NOTE: This is very good and if you desire more spice, sprinkle with poultry seasoning or sage on the croutons.
