MAMA'S QUICK ROLLS 
2 c. self-rising flour
1 pkg. yeast
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. hot water

Combine dry ingredients. Cut in shortening. Add hot water. Knead dough. Place in greased muffin tin and let rise. Bake in 400 degree oven approximately 10-12 minutes. Makes 12 rolls.

NOTE: If you're in a hurry, place rolls in muffin tin in cold oven. Turn oven on and let rise and cook at same time.
