DELUXE PECAN PIE 
3 eggs
1 c. Karo syrup (light or dark)
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. pecans
1 unbaked 9" pastry shell

Beat eggs slightly. Mix in corn syrup, sugar, butter, vanilla and salt. Stir in pecans. Pour filling into pastry shell. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 30 to 35 minutes longer. Filling should be slightly less set in center than around edges. Cool.
