BETTY'S TOMATO SAUCE 
1 canner full of tomatoes
3 cloves garlic (I use 1 bulb)
3 green peppers, chopped
3 lg. onions, chopped
1/4 c. canning salt
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
2 tbsp. oregano leaves
2 tbsp. basil leaves
1 tsp. ground black pepper
1 c. parsley flakes

Cook tomatoes and garlic; sieve. Add other ingredients and cook down to thickness you desire. Can in sterile jars. You may can in pressure canner 10 minutes at 5 pounds pressure.
