CAKE:

1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 can crushed pineapple

Mix above ingredients well. Pour into well-greased 9x13-inch pan. Sprinkle 1 cup brown sugar and 1 cup pecans over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes until done.

ICING:

1 1/2 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. evaporated milk

Put above ingredients into pan and bring to a boil. Punch holes in hot cake with toothpick or large fork and pour icing over top.
