1 German chocolate cake mix with pudding
1/3 c. Carnation milk
3/4 c. butter
1 pkg. caramels
1/3 c. Carnation milk
1 c. pecans
6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips

Make cake mix according to directions. Add 1/3 cup Carnation milk and butter. Pour 1/2 of mix in 13"x9" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

Melt caramels and 1/3 cup Carnation milk in a pan. Pour over baked cake. Add pecans and chocolate chips. Pour remaining cake mix over caramel mixture. Bake all above in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Ice with favorite chocolate icing.
