CHOCOLATE CHERRY BARS 
1 pkg. fudge cake mix
1 (21 oz.) can cherry fruit filling
1 tsp. almond extract
2 eggs, beaten

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Using solid shortening or butter, grease and flour a 15 x 10 inch jelly roll pan or a 13 x 19 inch cake pan.

In a large bowl combine all 4 ingredients by hand. Stir until well mixed. Pour into prepared pan. Bake jelly roll pan 20 to 30 minutes. Bake 13 x 19 inch cake pan for 25 to 30 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 c. sugar
5 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. milk

Boil, stirring constantly, 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in 1 cup chocolate chips until smooth. Pour over bars.
