CHOCOLATE CHIP RICE CRISPY BARS 
1/3 c. butter
1 (10 1/2 oz.) bag little marshmallows
6 1/2 c. crisped rice cereal
8 oz. chocolate chips

In a 2 quart saucepan, melt butter and marshmallows over low heat, stirring occasionally, until marshmallows are melted. Remove from heat. In large bowl, add to cereal; stir to coat. Mix in chocolate chips. Spread in buttered 13 x 9 inch pan. Cool completely. Cut into bars.

In microwave: In 1 1/2 quart bowl melt butter and marshmallows on medium for 2-3 minutes. Stir and repeat until marshmallows are melted. Add to cereal in a larger bowl. Mix in chocolate chips. Spread in buttered pan.

Variations: Add 1/2 cup peanuts. Or add 1/8 cup colored sprinkles.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
