TRIPLE CHOCOLATE CRISPY FUSION BARS | |
2 tablespoons cocoa 1 cup all purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder ¼ teaspoon baking soda ¼ teaspoon salt ¾ cup butter 1 ½ cups brown sugar 1 egg 1 tablespoon skim milk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 ½ cups semi sweet chocolate chips 1 ½ cups chocolate flavor crispy rice cereal (like cocoa diamonds or cocoa crispies) powdered sugar shortening Heat oven to 350F. Grease a 13”x9” baking pan with shortening. In a medium size bowl combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix thoroughly with a fork as to evenly distribute cocoa and break up any lumps of cocoa. In a large bowl, beat butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, milk and vanilla; beat well. Gradually add flour mixture, beating well. Stir in the chocolate chips and then gently stir in the cereal until all ingredients are well mixed. Bake 30 minutes. Cool pan on a wire rack.
