CHUTNEY CHEESE BALL 
8 oz. cream cheese
1 tsp. curry powder
2 tbsp. chutney
3/4 c. chopped salted peanuts
1/2 - 3/4 c. toasted shredded coconut
Assorted crackers

Toast the coconut by baking it in a 250 degree oven until golden, stirring once or twice. Caution: Watch the coconut constantly so that it does not burn.

Mix together cream cheese, curry powder, chutney and peanuts. (A food processor works well.) Chill the mixture and shape into a ball. Roll the ball in coconut and serve with crackers.

This may be prepared a day in advance, covered and refrigerated.
