CHOCOLATE SHEET CAKE 
Hand mix only. Sift into bowl:

2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Melt:

2 sticks butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water

Bring to a rapid boil and pour over dry ingredients. Add:

1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix well and bake in jelly roll pan at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.

ICING FOR SHEETCAKE:

Melt 1 stick oloe, 4 tablespoons cocoa, 6 tablespoons milk. Bring to a boil, remove from fire and add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 box powdered sugar (sifted) and 1 cup broken nuts. I like to take a fork and punch a few holes in cake as soon as I take it out of the oven and put the icing on the hot cake.
