1 pkg. Duncan Hines devils food cake mix
2 eggs
Pecan halves if desired
1/2 c. cooking oil
1 c. (6 oz.) semi - sweet chocolate pieces

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Blend cake mix, oil and egg. Stir in chocolate pieces. Drop from a teaspoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet. If desired, top each cookie with a pecan half. Bake 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes until cookie tests done with a toothpick. Cool on a cookie sheet for 1 minute then remove.
