ROMAN HOLIDAY BAKE | |
1/2 - 1 lb. lean ground beef 1/2 lb. Italian sausage, sliced 1 med. onion, chopped and sauteed until soft 1 can tomato soup 1 can cheddar cheese soup 3 slices of American cheese 1 tbsp. oregano 1 pkg. egg noodles, cooked and drained Brown sausage and hamburger, drain off fat. Add to the fry pan the two cans of soup and 1/2 - 1 can water, onion, and oregano. Heat until soups are smooth and well mixed. Put noodles into a 9 x 13 pan and pour soup and meat mixture over and stir into noodles. Cut cheese slices in half to form triangles and arrange on top. Heat in a 350 degree oven until cheese melts and casserole is hot throughout, 30-35 minutes. |
