4 LAYER DESSERT 
Crust:

1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 1/2 sticks butter

First Layer:

1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
1 (9 oz) carton Cool Whip

Second Layer:

2 (3 oz) pkgs lemon instant pudding
2 tbsp lemon juice
3 cups milk

Blend together ingredients for crust & press into a 9x13 inch pan.

Bake for 20 minutes at 350. Cool. Mix ingredients of first layer together & spread 1/2 over cooled crust. Mix second layer ingredients together & pour over first layer. For the third layer, use other half of Cool Whip mixture & sprinkle with either chopped nuts, colored sprinkles, etc. Cherries or strawberries are good on the lemon. Any flavor instant pudding may be used, omitting the lemon juice. Butterscotch, chocolate, or pistachio pudding is also good. Refrigerate.
