SHORT - CUT CHICKEN BROCCOLI
CASSEROLE
 
6 to 8 chicken thighs
24 oz. pkg. frozen broccoli
1 pkg. Stove Top dressing (chicken flavor)
1/2 c. butter
4 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Boil chicken in water that you have added the seasoning packet from the Stove Top Dressing. This makes the broth extra good. When chicken is completely cooked remove from broth, let cool, then remove meat from bones and tear chicken into small pieces.

Melt 1/2 cup butter in saucepan over low heat, blend in 4 tablespoons flour, add 2 cups chicken broth and 1/2 cup cheese, stirring constantly until mixture thickens.

In 13 x 9 inch pan spread broccoli first then chicken pieces over broccoli. Pour sauce over chicken evenly. In bowl put Stove Top crumbs, 1/2 cup melted butter and 1/4 cup broth, mix to moisten slightly. Spread evenly over chicken. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes or until broccoli is tender.
