VANILLA ICE CREAM 
4 eggs
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. vanilla
1/2 pt. cream
2 cans Eagle brand condensed milk
1 1/2 qt. milk
1/4 tsp. salt

Combine eggs, cream sugar, salt in bowl and mix thoroughly. Cook in double boiler, medium heat 3 to 5 minutes until it coats a spoon. Add condensed milk and stir well. Add vanilla. Pour into can. Add regular milk to fill line on can and stir. Makes 4 quarts. Follow directions on freezer for freezing.

Note: For 5 quarts, increase all ingredients by 1/4.

Low fat milk may be used for a lighter ice cream.
