CHICKEN WITH MUSHROOMS STIR -
FRY
 
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. cornstarch
1 clove garlic, pressed
1 tbsp. sugar
2 slices ginger, squeezed

Mix together. 1/2 lb. sm. button mushrooms 1/4 lb. snow peas 1 onion, cut into 1" pieces Dash white pepper Salt to taste 1/2 tsp. sesame oil 1 tbsp. dry sherry 1 tbsp. cornstarch mixed with 1/3 c. water 3 tbsp. oil

Place chicken in marinade for 1/2 hour. Saute onions and mushrooms in half of the oil. Remove and set aside. Add remaining oil and stir fry the chicken for 2 minutes. Add sherry while stirring. Add salt, pepper, onions, mushrooms and snow peas. Add cornstarch-water mixture and cook until sauce is thickened.
