CHRISTMAS POUND CAKE 
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. Crisco
5 eggs
3 c. sugar
3 c. sifted plain flour (Softasilk cake flour)
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. milk
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tsp. lemon flavoring or juice
3/4 c. chopped pecans
1 c. coconut
1 (4 oz.) jar green/red maraschino cherries, chopped

Mix first 10 ingredients. Fold in remaining ingredients. Pour in greased and floured tube pan and bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour 20 minutes. Cool and top with any white frosting or serve plain.
