CHINESE CHEWS 
3/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. chopped dates

Combine all dry ingredients; add dates and nuts. Beat eggs and add, mixing thoroughly. Spread in 8 inch square greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cut into squares as soon as they are removed from oven and roll into ball. Roll balls in granulated sugar. Cool and store in airtight container.
