CHINESE CHEWS 
3/4 c. flour, sifted
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. dates, chopped
1 c. walnuts, chopped
3 eggs, well beaten

Sift dry ingredients. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into greased pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes.
