SOUR CREAM APPLE PIE 
1 unbaked 9" pie crust
2 tbsp. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. sour cream
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
4 c. sliced apples
1/8 tsp. salt
1 egg, unbeaten
1 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Sift together flour, salt and sugar. Add egg, sour cream, vanilla and nutmeg. Beat until batter is thin and smooth. Blend in sliced apples and pour into pastry shell. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Lower oven to 350 degrees and bake for 30 minutes. Remove pie from oven and sprinkle with topping.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. flour
1/4 stick butter, softened

Mix sugar, flour and cinnamon with butter. Sprinkle mixture over top of pie. Bake 10 minutes at 400 degrees. Serve warm.
