AUNT JUANITA'S STRAWBERRY ANGEL
CAKE
 
1 box Duncan Hines 2 step angel food cake mix
2 (3 oz.) boxes wild strawberry jello
1 c. boiling water
2 pkgs. Birds Eye frozen strawberries (about 1 pt.)
1 (9 oz.) carton Cool Whip

Bake the cake as directed. When cool cut into 3 equal layers. Add the boiling water to jello. Dissolve well; add the frozen strawberries to this mixture. Whip in the Cool whip. Mix well together. Refrigerate until set. Next, spread this cold strawberry mixture in between cake layers and on top and sides. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Great on hot summer days!
