BEEFY PASTA CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lbs. ground chuck
1 med. onion, chopped
3/4 c. sharp Cheddar and 3/4 c. American cheese, grated
2 c. cooked macaroni
1 (2 lb.) can tomatoes, chopped
Pam vegetable spray
2 1/2 to 3 qt. baking dish
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Ground turkey can also be substituted.

Add salt and pepper to beef before browning. Saute ground beef and onion until done. Drain off fat. Mix beef, onion, cooked macaroni, and chopped tomatoes. Spray baking dish with Pam. Mix both cheeses. Spread 1/4 of the cheese on the bottom of the dish. Add the beef, macaroni mixture, and layer alternately with the cheese, ending with cheese. Bake at 375 degrees until heated through, about 20 minutes, or put in microwave, covered loosely, for 10 minutes on high if oven has a turn table (if not rotate halfway through cooking).

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
