1 c. butter
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 pkg. chocolate kisses

Beat first 6 ingredients at medium speed. Add next 4 ingredients at low speed until combined. Shape into 1 inch balls and roll in sugar. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets and bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Immediately press a candy kiss into each cookie when removed from oven. Cool and store in airtight container. You can also press cookie with thumb and fill with jam if you desire.
