PIGS IN A BLANKET | |
2 lb. round steak 4 slices bread 10 slices partially fried bacon 1/4 tsp. garlic salt 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce Toothpicks Beat steak to 1/4 inch thick. Cut into 2 inch squares. Place a small piece of bacon and bread between fold of steak. Fasten together with toothpick. Brown steak well in shortening. Place steak in heavy covered pan with enough water to cover meat. Add above ingredients. Cook over low heat for 3 hours. Serve over rice. |
