PIGS IN BLANKET 
2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
1/2 lb. rice, not instant
2 onions, chopped
1 clove garlic
1 tbsp. basil
Salt
Pepper
1 lg. cabbage head
1 lg. can tomato sauce or soup
2 strips bacon

Cook rice for 10 minutes and drain. Decore cabbage head and boil until leaves come loose. Mix all ingredients except soup and bacon and wrap mixture in leaves. Pour tomato sauce or soup over top covering completely. Put bacon over top. Place cabbage leaves on top and put plate on pigs so they won't float. Bake at 350 degrees for 2 1/2 hours.
