CANDIED WALNUTS 
1 c. brown sugar (firmly packed)
1 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. light sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. halved walnuts

Combine sugar and sour cream in saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring until sugar dissolved. Continue cooking over low heat (246 degrees) until drops added to cold water forms firm balls. Remove from heat, add walnuts and vanilla. Stir to lightly coat walnuts. Separate nuts on waxed paper.
