MICRO-WAVE CARAMEL CORN | |
16 c. popped corn 1 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. butter 1/4 c. light corn syrup 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking soda Place popcorn into a grocery bag or microwave-safe bowl. In a 2 quart bowl, combine brown sugar, butter, syrup and salt. Cook on High for 2-3 minutes until mixture begins to boil. Cook 3 more minutes. Add soda to mixture, stir and pour over popcorn. Shake, cook on High for 3 minutes. Shake or stir every 30 seconds. Cool on waxed paper or cookie sheets. Store in tightly covered container. |
