1 1/2 lb. beef stew meat 1 1/2 lb. cubed pork (optional) 2 c. chopped onions 2 c. chopped green peppers 1/2 c. packed brown sugar 3 tsp. chili powder 2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. dry mustard 1/4 c. vinegar 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 6 oz. can tomato paste Combine all ingredients in crock pot on low setting 8 to 10 hours or until meat is tender with fork, stir barbecue to break up meat. To prepare in oven, place all ingredients in Dutch oven or large casserole. Cover; bake at 325 degrees for 4 hours. |
