FISH CHOWDER | |
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can salmon 5 slices bacon, diced 1/2 c. chopped onion 1/2 c. green peppers 2 c. diced potatoes 1 sm. pkg. frozen mixed vegetables 2 1/2 c. water 2 chicken bouillon 1 c. cream corn 3 c. whole milk plus 1 bouillon cube 1/8 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. dill 1 tbsp. parsley Flake salmon. Reserve liquid. Saute bacon, onion, and green pepper, then add diced potatoes, package frozen vegetable mix, water, and 2 chicken bouillon cubes. Cover and simmer until vegetables are tender, about 10 minutes. Add salmon, liquid, corn, milk, bouillon cube, and seasonings. Heat but do not boil. |
