CHOCOLATE MAYONNAISE CAKE 
2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
5 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1 c. mayonnaise
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. vinegar (opt.)

Sift together flour, sugar, soda and cocoa. Mix well and add the water, mayonnaise, vanilla and vinegar. Bake in greased and floured 9"x13" pan for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Then frost with the cooked coconut frosting.

COOKED COCONUT FROSTING:

1 c. evaporated milk
1 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
1/4 lb. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Pecans or walnuts, broken

Combine above ingredients over medium or low heat. Cook about 12 minutes (watch carefully so it does not burn). Add 1 1/3 cups coconut and some pecans or walnuts. Let set for a while to cool. Beat until cool and thick. Will cover 9"x13" cake.
