UNCOOKED STRAWBERRY JAM 
3 c. crushed strawberries
5 c. sugar
1 pkg. powdered pectin
1 c. water

Add sugar to crushed strawberries, mix well and let stand 20 to 30 minutes with occasional stirring. Dissolve pectin in water and bring to a boil. Boil one minute. Add pectin solution to fruit and sugar and stir two minutes. Spoon into sterilized glasses to about 1/2 inch from top. Cover and let stand 24 to 48 hours until jellied. Store in freezer.
