TEXAS CHILI 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. cumin
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. chili powder

Brown ground beef in pan. Drain off fat and saute onions. Mash kidney beans with potato masher until no beans or lumps. Put meat, onions, beans, tomato sauce and seasonings in large pan and cook covered for 1 1/2 to 2 hours to blend. This is real thick.
