Italian sausage 1 lg. can tomatoes 1 sm. can tomato paste 1 med. onion, chopped fine Salt, pepper to taste Garlic salt, red pepper, oregano and Parmesan cheese Shake about 1 tablespoon of the spices in the meat with the onions. Put tomatoes, all the above spices and the tomato paste into a large saucepan. Simmer. As the meat gets brown, take out and put into the sauce. Simmer slowly for 3 to 4 hours. Cook spaghetti according to package; drain. Pour sauce over the spaghetti, sprinkle cheese over it, and add meatballs. Serve with Italian bread and a tossed salad. |
