BANANA COFFEE BREAD | |
1/2 c. shortening 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 3/4 c. mashed, ripe bananas 1 1/4 c. sifted, all-purpose flour 3/4 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt Cream shortening and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Stir in banana. Sift together dry ingredients, add to the banana mixture and mix well. Pour into greased 9x9x2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. |
