BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 lb. beef sirloin
1 tbsp. shortening
1 med. onion, sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 c. sour cream
1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, undrained
2 tbsp. catsup
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Poppy seed noodles

4 ounces cooked noodles and 1 tablespoon poppy seed

Cut beef in 1/4-inch strips. Brown in shortening. Add onion and garlic. Cook until onion is tender.
