CHOCOLATE MINT FUDGE | |
1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow creme 1 1/2 c. white sugar 2/3 c. evaporated milk 1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter-flavored Crisco 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. chopped nuts 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1 (11 1/2 oz.) pkg. milk chocolate morsels 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate-mint morsels In large saucepan, combine marshmallow creme, sugar, evaporated milk, butter and salt; on medium heat bring to full rolling boil, stir constantly for 5 minutes, remove from heat. Add milk chocolate and semi-sweet morsels. Stir until chips are melted and mix is well blended. Stir in nuts and extract. Pour into foil- lined 8 or 9-inch pan. Cool until firm, about 2 hours. Cut into 1 inch squares. (Can substitute semi-sweet for mint chocolate chips.) |
