ONION CHEESE SUPPER BREAD 
1/2 chopped onion
1 tbsp. butter
1 beaten egg
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. Bisquick
1 tbsp. poppy seeds
2 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese

Saute onions in 1 tablespoon butter. Combine egg and milk. Add Bisquick, stir only until dry ingredients are moist. Add onions, 1/2 of cheese. Spread in a greased 8 x 1 1/2 inch pan. Sprinkle top with remainder of cheese and poppy seeds. Spread 2 tablespoons of butter on top. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
