LASAGNE 
1 lb. ground beef
3/4 c. onion
Garlic powder
1 can (1 lb.) tomatoes
1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
Parmesan cheese
1 pkg. (8 oz.) lasagna noodles
3/4 lb. mozzarella cheese

Cook and stir ground beef, onion and garlic in large saucepan until brown. Drain fat. Add tomatoes and break up with fork. Stir in tomato sauce, sugar and salt. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat, simmer uncovered for 1 hour. Cook noodles as directed on package.

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In ungreased baking pan layer noodles, meat sauce and cheese; repeat 2 times. Bake uncovered 45 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes for easier cutting after removing from oven.
