PEPPER STEAK 
2 lbs. sirloin or round steak
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 lg. green peppers, cut in 1 inch squares
1 lg. onion, chopped
1/4 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
2 lg. celery stalks, sliced diagonally
1 tbsp. molasses
Garlic salt
Cooking oil

Slice steak into thin strips, 2 inches long. Sprinkle starch and soy sauce over meat and marinate 1 hour. Meanwhile, prepare vegetables. Saute vegetables in about 3 tablespoons oil until tender/ crisp. Remove from pan, and add meat and marinade to the pan. Saute until redness is gone from the meat. Add vegetables, molasses, and garlic salt to taste. Stir slightly and cook until heated through, about 2 to 3 minutes. Serve on rice or buttered noodles. Serves 4 or 5.
