HOMEMADE GRANOLA 
6 c. regular oats
1 c. sliced almonds
1 c. roasted unsalted sunflower seeds
1 c. unprocessed bran
1 c. unsweetened grated coconut
1 c. chopped pecans

Place all ingredients in a large baking pan and mix.

IN a glass measuring cup mix 3/4 cup oil and 3/4 cup honey. A teaspoon of vanilla can be added too. Pour this over dry ingredients and mix as well as you can.

Place in a 300 degree oven. About every 15 minutes, mix and turn granola to coat and toast evenly. After 1 hour, turn off oven. Crack open door and let sit until cool.

Keep in a well-sealed container. It makes a great cereal or topping for any kind of yogurt (regular or frozen) and ice cream. Add raisins or any dried fruit for a snack.
