DANG GOOD PIE | |
1 (9-inch) pie crust, partially baked 5-6 minutes 1 stick butter 1 c. sugar 1/4 c. vinegar 3 med. eggs, beaten until fluffy 1/4 c. milk 1 c. chopped pecans 1 c. golden raisins, softened in hot water for 10 minutes and drained 1 c. coconut In a saucepan, melt butter, add sugar and vinegar and stir until dissolved. Cool slightly. Mix eggs and milk. Slowly add butter mixture to eggs, stirring well so the eggs will not cook. Add pecans, raisins and coconut. Mix well and pour into pie shell. Bake at 300 degrees for 45-50 minutes. |
