MAMA'S TEA CAKES 
4 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 level tsp. baking soda
1 heaping tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk

Cream butter, sugar, salt, soda and baking powder. Add flour, butter, milk and eggs. Keep adding flour until dough is stiff. Roll out on floured board and bake at 450 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
