LEMON BARS 
CRUST:

1 c. butter
2 c. confectioners' sugar
2 c. flour

Thoroughly mix crust ingredients. Spread into 9 x 13 pan. Bake 15 minutes in preheated 350 degree oven until pale tan. Cool.

FILLING:

4 tsp. lemon juice
Grated rind 2 lemons
4 eggs, well beaten
2 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. flour
1 c. coconut (optional)

Mix together filling. Pour over crust and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool thoroughly. Cut into small bars.
