SALMON LOG | |
There is no mistake about it, this is an excellent appetizer for a party or family union! Everyone will LOVE it! 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can red salmon, drained with skin and bones removed 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1 tbsp. lemon juice 2 tsp. onion, grated 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. liquid smoke 3/4 c. pecans, chopped 3 tbsp. fresh parsley, minced 1 1/2 c. mild cheese, grated Flake salmon with a fork, add cream cheese, lemon juice, onion, salt, grated cheese and liquid smoke, stir well. Chill mixture several hours or overnight. Shape salmon mixture into a log. Combine pecans and parsley, stir well. Roll salmon log into pecan mixture, place on a platter and decorate. |
