NEVER FAIL CHOCOLATE CAKE 
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
5 tbsp. cocoa
2 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sour milk
1 c. hot water
2 tsp. vanilla

Sift flour with soda and salt. Put all ingredients in bowl and beat well. Bake until tested done with toothpick. Bake at 350 degrees. This is an easy and good chocolate cake, so moist. This has been my family's favorite for 30 years.
