MICROWAVE TOFFEE 
1 c. chopped pecans
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter (cut in chunks)
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Spread pecans evenly in buttered 8x8 dish. In 2-quart casserole combine sugar and butter. Microwave at HIGH 5-6 minutes or until sugar is dissolved, stirring after 2 minutes, then every minutes. DO NOT OVERCOOK.

Spread mixture over nuts in dish. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Let stand 20 seconds or until chocolate is melted. Spread chocolate evenly. Cool. Break into pieces. Makes 1 pound.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
