BANANA BREAD 
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3 lg. or 4 sm. bananas
1/2 c. pecans (optional)
1 tsp. vanilla

ICING:

1 lg. banana
1 box powdered sugar
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Slowly mix all ingredients in mixer. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes in 2 small loaf pans, or 1 hour in 1 large pan. For the icing (if desired as a dessert), cream butter and banana; add sugar and vanilla.
