OATMEAL BREAD 
1 1/2 c. milk
1 c. raisins
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. oatmeal (old fashioned)
1 tsp. salt
2 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. warm water
1 egg, beaten
4 1/4 c. flour

Scald milk. Add raisins, butter, sugar, oatmeal, salt and dissolve yeast in warm water. Add egg to mixture. Add flour to mixture. Knead mixture 10 minutes. Put mixture in oiled bowl. Rise until double. Push down. Divide mixture into two parts. Roll out into two rectangles. Brush with butter. Spread sugar and cinnamon over dough. Put dough in greased, floured bread pan. Let rise until double again. Bake at 350 degrees until golden.
